About Me

I am a Nevada native, born and raised in “The Biggest Little City in the World”.  I got my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and will graduate with my Masters of Business Administration this May from the University of Nevada, Reno.  I am currently the Materials Manager at Pentair, where we design and manufacture the highest quality slurry knife gate valves.  I am responsible for the planning, warehousing, receiving, shipping and logistics teams.  I am a team player, but also a strong leader that is driven and takes great pride in my performance as a professional.  At Pentair I am an active advocate for process improvements.  I am passionate about lean methodologies and have a strong analytical background.  I enjoy being challenged on a daily basis and like being faced with problems to solve.  Anyone who knows me, will tell you that there is not much I enjoy more than solving a logic problem or playing a strategy game.

I am passionate about everything and anything outdoors!  I feel truly fortunate to live in Lake Tahoe’s back yard which has so much to offer to an outdoor enthusiast.  I am passionate about health and fitness and enjoy pushing myself and others to new levels.  I appreciate staying active and revel in the competition of sports. In my free time I can be found running, rock climbing, practicing yoga, hiking, biking, camping, playing soccer, basketball, football or anything else where sweating is encouraged. I want to encourage more people to join me and discover the outdoor enthusiast in themselves.
